Same granite soils, same family — just at your address.
La Boucher’s vineyards sit on old granite soils in the Bottelary Hills, overlooking Table Mountain — run by the Boucher and Els families since the estate was planted. The tasting room may be closed to walk-in visitors, but the experience hasn’t gone anywhere.
Kwagga Boucher — winemaker and third-generation custodian of the estate — now brings that experience directly to you: a guided flight through the range, the stories behind each bottle, and honest answers to whatever you’re curious about.
The Experience
What a private tasting includes
Every session is hosted in person by Kwagga and shaped around your group — casual and conversational, or a structured sit-down flight.
01 — Guided Wine Flight
A curated walk through the La Boucher range — Pierrè, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and more — with Kwagga talking through the vineyard, the vintage and the winemaking decisions behind each glass.
02 — Food Pairing (Optional)
Add a curated food pairing to accompany the flight — from a simple cheese and charcuterie board to a fuller spread, arranged around what suits your venue and guest count.
03 — Your Venue, Set Up for You
Home, function venue, office or private event — Kwagga brings the wines, the glassware and the setup. You provide the table and the guests.
